EEG/ERP Research Specialist
Wasuwat Siewsrichol is an EEG/ERP Research Specialist at the Center for Cognitive and Social Neuroscience and High-Performance Electrical Neuroimaging Laboratory at the University of Chicago. He graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a bachelor’s degree in Bioengineering in 2017. During his undergraduate years, Wasuwat conducted research the Department of Neuroanesthesia where he investigated the role of Heparanase in neuroinflammation during early stages of subarachnoid hemorrhage. In addition, he also conducted research in the Department of Bioengineering where he examined the cardiovascular mechanics of animals with pulmonary hypertension using MATLAB generated computer simulations. Currently, his research interests include EEG/ERP signal analysis and brain topology, and his future plan includes pursuing a career in medicine.
